Etymology

• "Yoake (夜明)" means "sunrise" or "dawn". This ties in with Fuka Higure's last name, which means "dusk", and also with Mikazuki (lit. crescent moon).
• Sumire (すみれ) is the Japanese name of flowers in the Viola genus (violets).

Trivia

• Sumire's Live2D model was added to the game's files as early as April 2025, around the time the Amane sisters' and Alina's models were.
• Both of Sumire's parents work at a hospital in Toyozuru.
• Alongside Fuka Higure, both are the first playable characters to be completely original to Magia Exedra.
