For some reason i cannot edit the powers and abilities section (its like this for a lot of wiki pages for some reason, can someone change Mabayus magic from unknown to "optical Camouflage" CafeAuBandage (talk)

I've fixed it. The parameter was set to Powers and Abilities= instead of powers= which was why it wasn't working. Though I think we did some edit conflict between you previewing, and I saved the edit. -- 0x99 (talk) 19:40, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

Category

Should we move Mabayu to the "Original Series" category due to her ID number following the sequence of the other original series characters, or leave her in the Original Characters section? I'm leaning towards the former. I mean, we have Asuka in the Arc 1 Main story characters due to her ID number even though she plays no significant (if any) part in Arc 1. She isn't a character from the original series, so even if her ID number falls in that range it would seem strange to put her there. Unless she were to make an appearance in Walpurgis Rising, but that doesn't seem likely, right? And I'd also lean towards moving Asuka (and Karin too actually) into either "side story characters" or "arc 2 characters" (her significance in arc 2 is slightly higher than in arc 1, given that her dojo is the Union's meeting place). ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 03:25, 27 October 2023 (UTC)

Even if hey use Asuka's dojo, Asuka herself doesn't really participate or contribute. I would argue moving Asuka back into the Side Characters category and either leave Karin in arc 1 or bump her down to arc 2. Also, we should probably move Kuro (white) down to side stories. Her id number is in the same group as the puella historia girls, but she has nothing to do with the puella historia arc. Sondenise (talk) 13:54, 27 October 2023 (UTC)

Random theory

So... I feel like her witch form (as a theory!!) would either be Gertrude or Elly, just based off of what we know about her so far... I dunno, just a guess. ReiAyanami (talk) 20:00, 6 November 2023 (UTC)

Both Gertrud and Elly/Kirsten appear as witches while Mabayu is alive as a magical girl, so it is highly improbable that Mabayu one of them. Most of all the witches from the original Madomagi anime so far have appear on Scene 0 while Mabayu is still alive. Still Mabayu could be one of the witches that hasn't appear yet. 2nd Magia?

Unconfirmed Exedra OP animation power

That is an acceptable compromise to me, Celtic, thank you!

"Who else would they belong to?" The Lighthouse? A-Q? We do not have story context for the exact circumstances of Exedra's OP animation yet, if it ever will have any, and there is no reason based on the contents of it alone to treat it as a confirmed fact or even substantial evidence that Mabayu is involved with those green girls at all. We have so little information that it cannot be proven either way, and I feel like those kinds of assumptions are not at all the kind of thing that should be presented on a character's wiki page as fact like they were before. It is explicitly misleading and adds confusion for people, much like a conversation I saw off-site where someone was asking about this, baffled. The way we have it now, in the unconfirmed theory template, is fine. I just don't see how they would be involved with the Lighthouse, since they are only seen at the start and Kioku don't have a green effect like that. ~ Amaterasu (talk) 13:05, 5 June 2025 (UTC)

Parents

Is anything at all known about her father? The purpose of this question is to decide whether her mother should be referred to as Mrs Aki (implying she married Mabayu's father) or Ms Aki (implying either Mabayu was born out of wedlock, or there was a divorce). ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 19:19, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
