台与 and 壱与 are very much not written in hiragana. I don't know what they're written in, though - they look somewhat like simplified Chinese characters? EPF (talk) 16:46, 23 June 2023 (UTC)

Hm. The translation application I used worked for it so I assumed it was either hiragana or katakana. It could be kanji but I cant be sure. PureChaos (talk) 16:51, 23 June 2023 (UTC)

I don't get the confusion here? It's clearly kanji. A translation app would work on kanji just as well as (if not better than) it does on haragana and katakana. They aren't even particularly uncommon kanji - according to Wiktionary, an elementary schooler would be expected to know them. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 00:39, 26 June 2023 (UTC)

Should we really include translations of トヨ (katakana for "Toyo")? They're just separate syllables; it's like we tried to define the English word "an" with "a" as either the article (like in "a horse") or a prefix that signifies a lack (like atheist - not-theist); and n as shortened form of nano, a prefix that signifies a unite of measurement is 10^-9 times smaller than the "normal" one.
