Spoilering text

You can spoiler text by typing {{spoiler| and then the text that you want. Be sure to end with double waved brackets too. Then you get this.--NepetaLeijon27 15:46, 26 March 2023 (UTC)

Witch Origins

For any who may want to know the origins of everyone's witch. (For some reason today I'm being dyslexic so don't be surprised at typos.)

Perse, Ryuko's witch, is based on Persephone, the queen of the dead in Greek myth. This references all of the people Ryuko has killed and the grief she connects to it. The Cerberi guards her and her kills, acting as the Greek Cerberus.

Zetian, the witch of Kokomi, is based on the Chinese empress of the same name, who reportedly executed two people by drowning them in wine flasks filled with poison. In the later years of her life, she would be tormented by the ghosts of the two she killed and would endlessly run away. Her familiars, the Caishikou are named after the "cabbage execution grounds" in China, which was used during the end of the Boxer Rebellion.

Kempeitai, Himari's witch, is based on a brutal Japanese torture method employed by the Kempeitai police which involved bamboo, metal pipes, water, and more. Since her wish let her see and hear everything everyone thought, Kempeitai has the power of foresight and is dotted with eyes along her sprout. Her familiars, the Ana-Tsurushi, was a method of torture used in Japan where Christians were hung from a well until they rejected their faith.

Chiomara was a woman who got revenge for what men did to her. She killed the main perpetrator and brought his head to her husband, reportedly hiding it in her dress before dropping it at his feet. The Gnaeus are based off one of the people she killed, and specifically the one whose head she took.

(While on the topic, I plan on adding the girls and their witches in the future as images.) PureChaos (talk) 22:32, 7 April 2023 (UTC)

Help, please!

I can't find a specific image on this wiki, and I know I've seen it before. I want to add it to the Puella Historia character's pages. It looks roughly like this but has a higher quality. (Image has been deleted.)

Found it by searching for "historia" in the File namespace. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 03:47, 29 April 2023 (UTC)

Thank you! I knew I saw it in something to do with Infinite Iroha, but couldn't find it. I'll start putting it on the Puella Historia pages! PureChaos (talk) 18:15, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
Yeah, turns out it was on Talk:Infinite Iroha. I think it makes sense for it to be on Infinite Iroha too though if it appeared in her side story. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 19:55, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
It has been done! Thank you for your help. PureChaos (talk) 21:12, 30 April 2023 (UTC)

Hello

Hello Chaos, can you create the page Akuma Homura in Magia Record? She is already out in the JP version of the game, someone on the r/MadokaMagica Discord told me so. Also I can't create the page since I don't own Magia Record JP. HassanTNT (talk) 22:23, 26 August 2023 (UTC)

The page has already been created, hasn't it? Its under Devil Homura in Magia Record. The wiki has decided to call her Devil Homura, although the main page for her was called Akuma Homura. That may be why you arent finding the page. PureChaos (talk) 00:04, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
