The 1,000,000 preregistrations goal has been reached.
Magia Exedra will be released one day early on Wednesday, March 26th. This early version will have some functional limits in place, but those limits will be removed when the game officially releases on the 27th. All data from the early release version will be carried over into the base game. The game can be downloaded before release on Tuesday, March 25th.
The list of countries the game will be available in at launch has been released. These countries are, in alphabetical order, Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the UK, and the USA. In some countries, release may be delayed in order to set in place extra measures, but the purpose of the measures and for which countries is unknown.

The Opening Theme has been revealed to be "lighthouse" by FictionJunction and LINO LEIA.
The Opening Song and Animation will be revealed at Anime Japan 2025, on March 22nd.
Another live event will be held on March 24th, 2025.
The 800,000 preregistration goal has been reached. Goals for 900,000 and 1,000,000 preregistrations have been revealed.
The characters Karin Misono, Asuka Tatsuki, Nanaka Tokiwa, Leila Ibuki, Seika Kumi, Mito Aino, Hanna Sarasa, Himika Mao, Hazuki Yusa, Ayame Mikuri, Rika Ayano, Riko Chiaki, Kush Irina, Yuma Chitose, Natsuki Utsuho, Kako Natsume, Meiyui Chun, Konoha Shizumi, Felicia Mitsuki, Sana Futaba, Momoko Togame, Rena Minami, and Kaede Akino have been confirmed as day-one playable characters.

Pre-registration for Apple devices has started. The date shown, May 25th 2025, is not accurate. An iOS of 13.0 or later is needed to pre-register.

A new trailer for Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgisnacht Rising was showcased, notably displaying 2 new characters.
Beginnings, Eternal and Rebellion will have a Japan-exclusive Blu-ray re-release on January 25th, 2025, featuring a 4K HDR upscale with Dolby-Atmos enhanced sound.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion will have a Japan-exclusive theatrical re-screening from October 25th to October 31st, 2024, at select few cinemas. There will also be a special limited supply gift for viewers attending the event.
