I think it might be useful to start providing/linking to sources for where a Magical Girl's unique wish magic is explicitly stated, given how a fair number of them aren't (to my knowledge) explained in the game itself. Especially since the art books and second arc of the game are exclusively in Japanese save for fan translations, not everyone knows where information is.--Garr9988 (talk) 19:23, 19 April 2023 (UTC)

Pronounciation change.
I changed the pronunciation of her name in her Japanese Name section. My reason is that the "l" sound does not exist in Japanese (and also the fact the previous was inaccurate). PureChaos (talk) 20:30, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
- I'm changing it back because Ashley first came out in the NA server, so the english would trump the japanese in this instance. Also, it's not that L doesn't exist in Japanese so much as they don't make a distinction between one or the other. Sondenise (talk) 01:11, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, but I'm providing pronunciation for them in the japanese version. Is this wrong? If so, why? Its not as though I'm changing the page. PureChaos (talk) 12:12, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
- It's not so much that's it's "wrong" to do so, but if their names aren't Japanese in nature, why put their JP pronunciations? I wouldn't be so against it if some of the pronunciations weren't incorrect, such as "Riwaia" for Livia. ヴィ =/= wai. That's a katakana "U" with tenten (aka the little double dash) which makes it a V sound. The small ィ then changes the ending vowel to an I, which makes ヴィ = Vi. Release order
I feel like Ashleys NA release should go before her JP release, but it doesn't seem like that is possible within the current restrains of the wiki. Is there any way I can fix this? Amaterasu (talk) 00:09, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- Sondenise's solution clearly works, but it also means any changes made to the template later on must be manually propagated to this page… ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 05:16, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- I worked out a somewhat simple way to automatically reorder them within the infobox template itself, which would require no changes to any of the pages themselves, but then I realized… what if we wanted to add Taiwan server release dates later? An alternative approach would be to move the JP/NA annotation to be an argument instead of a name, so you write something along the lines of |release1=JP:some date |release2=NA:another date and the template automatically shifts the JP/NA part into the label. Unfortunately, that requires updating every character page on the entire wiki, which might be a bit much. We could use a temporary category to help ensure we don't miss one, though. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 05:48, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- I think that would be easy enough to do. Its just all the Magia Record characters so it probably wouldn't take too long. Amaterasu (talk) 12:41, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- …ah, good point, it's not like every character page actually has release dates specified in their infobox. If you're willing to take on the task of updating them, I'll go ahead and make the change. I'll also add code to place all pages that use a release date in Category:Pages that need to update their release date format (no need to create the page as it'll be temporary). ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 04:27, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
- I'm willing to! I wont start right now but I will add it to my tasks todo. Amaterasu (talk) 15:49, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
- Well, if its already done on her page then i think that means we are good to leave it at that. Amaterasu (talk) 12:45, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- I wrote that response because I disagree, and stated why, so… ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 04:27, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
