- New Madoka Magica Manga to Release Simultaneously with Movie. Announced in Manga Time Kirara Magica: new comicalization by Hanokage is set to start alongside with the movie with more information to follow in Vol.2. Extra episode of Oriko Magica title Mahou Shoujo Oriko Magica: Noisy Citrine is set to be published in Kirara Magica Vol.2.

- The Puella Magi Wiki is One Year Old! It has been one year since this wiki started, the day after Episode 2 aired. At that time, the wiki was mainly meant to gather the theories, speculation and findings discussed in the Madoka Threads, and not that much of canon or official information. It is only after that that it started to grow and include other kinds of information.

- Puella Magi Madoka Magica has had a three-volume BD/DVD release confirmed by Aniplex USA, with a special collector's box announced and Madoka's, Kyuubey's, and Sayaka's VAs announced. Pre-orders go up Oct. 17th, and the first volume will be released February 14th. Details here.

- Puella Magi Madoka Magica won awards in twelve categories, including best TV animation and director, in NewType's new annual anime awards. Madoka previously won another award this year, Anime Kobe 2011 TV Feature Award.

- The sixth (and last) volume of Puella Magi Madoka Magica is now available in Japan.
