The Doppel of Electronic Ordinance.
Its form is an Electrocardiogram.
The master of this emotion uses powerful electrical signals to burn the ill will from its target's body, incinerating its personality along with everything else. Though they are horrified by this Doppel's power, they are also tempted to believe that murder such as this is the only way to put an end to all human ill will. This Doppel also has power over both life and death, and, when it appears, the master's body and soul split apart temporarily, leaving her soul meandering in the space between life and death.

A Magical Girl who has been shy since childhood. Feeling that life was painful, she blamed herself for her loneliness. It was her fellow Magical Girls that led her out of this despair. Though she's grown stronger mentally, she still has a timid side.

その姿は、心電図。
この感情の主は、強力な電気信号を駆使し相手の悪意を人格もろとも焼き尽くすこのドッペルの能力に恐怖を覚える一方で、これが殺害以外の方法で人間の悪意を根絶させることが出来る唯一の方法ではないかという誘惑に悩む。
またこのドッペルは生死を司る力も持ち、その姿を現す時に主は一時的に精神が肉体と分離した幽体離脱状態となる。

Side Story

Ren is looking out from a rooftop. Kyubey asks if she's going to waste her wish. Ren says it's different from last time and that she's given up on the world. She thinks about people saying hurtful things and says she can't live in a world like that. Kyubey tells Ren if she repeats her previous actions her Soul Gem will be destroyed. Ren understands. Somewhere close by, Rika Ayano defeats a witch and then sees Ren trying to jump off the rooftop. She saves Ren and asks why she wants to jump. Ren can't answer, but thinks about how ever since she was a child, she's had trouble speaking. She thinks about how she was teased and bullied for it. She then chose to end her own life. However, when she jumped from the rooftop the first time she realized she was scared of dying. Kyubey was there to grant her wish, which was to live. Kyubey explains that the bullying Ren went through was due to a witch. Specifically, witches hurt people, who then go to hurt other people. Ren resolves to destroy witches to create a better world. However, no matter how many witches she defeated, people still acted the same. Ren thinks she needs to destroy all witches, but Kyubey says even if she could it wouldn't remove the malice from people's hearts. Back in the present, Ren thinks this is the reason she wanted to commit suicide again. However, she can't explain a word of it to Rika. Rika then decides to take Ren to meet other magical girls she knows. Rika takes Ren to a place called "Emiri's Trouble Consultation Office", and greets Akira Shinobu there. Ren is unable to introduce herself and nearly cries when Akira doesn't seem to care. Rika then introduces Ren to Emiri Kisaki who is in charge of counseling at the consultation office. Emiri brings Ren to Ria Ami, who gives her hand cream, and Konomi Haruna, who gives Ren chamomile tea. Rika then suggests bringing Ren to the chemistry club, where they meet Hinano Miyako. Emiri suggests Hinano should make medicine for Ren, but she refuses. Instead she gives Ren candy. Afterward, the group meets Kanoko Yayoi at her family's metal factory. Emiri asks Kanoko to show the dress she designed, which she calls a "mushroom thing". Kanoko insists the mushrooms represent mother nature. Emiri asks if Ren thinks this is cool, to which Ren agrees. Rika says that Kanoko aims to be a super fashion designer, and despite her taste in clothes lives without abandoning hope. Kanoko is annoyed that she was chosen to represent those who are positive in the face of struggle. She then gives Ren accessories made of metal sheets. Emiri then says she has to leave, as Sasara Minagi is calling her. Rika admits that Emiri didn't actually listen to Ren's problem. Rika then tells Ren the story of how she became a magical girl. She explains she wished for the person she loved to love her back, even though they already liked someone else. Rika claims that she stole that person's love with her selfish wish. Rika then asks Ren if she thinks Rika's a horrible person. Ren is able to admit that she doesn't think so and is surprised to see that Rika is relieved. Ren asks why Rika talked about her wish. Rika says that if you want others to open up you have to talk about the secrets that create distance between people. Ren tries to tell her story to Rika, but can't get out the words and starts crying. Rika tells Ren not to force herself. She shows Ren all the gifts she's got, and says if all these people were thinking about Ren, then she should continue to live. She says that while the world is filled with bad things, there are also beautiful things as well. Rika says the most painful thing is to have nothing. Ren says that she will live. A relieved Rika goes to leave, but before she does Ren thanks her. Ren thinks that if Rika is able to accept her story, then she'll be able to live forever. |

 Ren's school is closed for the day, and by chance she meets Rika while walking. Rika asks Ren why she's not wearing her school uniform. Ren says her school is closed because the university it's affiliated with is using the school's classrooms to hold entrance exams. Rika says Ren is lucky, since she had to go to school that day. Ren notices Rika is acting oddly. Ren asks if Rika is shopping. Rika says she's buying cosmetics. Ren says she went out to by a book. Rika then says Ren's clothes are cute. Ren thinks this is odd because she thinks Rika must have seen the clothes before. Ren asks Rika if she's said something wrong. Rika says it's something hard to say, but eventually explains that she noticed Ren's collar is inside out. A shocked Ren says she just got it back from the cleaners, and must have attached it the wrong way. Rika says they can fix it in a bathroom. Ren thanks Rika for looking out for her, and thinks she's very considerate. Suddeny Emiri arrives. Rika blurts out that Emiri's shirt is inside out. Ren wonders if Rika is really considerate.
 Ren bumps into Aimi Eri at the mall. Ren narrates that Aimi gave her some advice on Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, Ren's inability to speak flares up again. Aimi asks how Valentine's went. Ren stutters out that she gave her friends chocolate. Aimi asks if something happened, saying that Ren looks sad. Ren says nothing happened and her friends enjoyed the chocolate. Aimi guesses it was Ren herself who wasn't satisfied with the chocolate. Ren is surprised because Aimi is correct. Ren narrates that the chocolate she made looked gray until she compared it to the fancy chocolate in stores. Aimi guesses Ren's thoughts and says she's felt the same way. Aimi suggest they practice making chocolate for the next Valentine's Day. Ren thinks that ever since she met Rika, her world has been a little bit kinder, and so she has to gather courage. Stuttering, Ren thanks Aimi. Ren doesn't know if Aimi understood her feelings, but wants to become someone who can return the kindness she has received.
 Ren is invited by Rika to the beach. Ren thinks she can't remember the last time she went there, and accepts the invitation in order to fill another page in her diary. Ren says she'll need a swimsuit, and Rika says Hinano found a new store. The girls go shopping with Hinano and Emiri. An employee mistakes Hinano for a grade schooler, to Hinano's annoyance. Rika thinks Hinano will take some time to find a swimsuit. Ren says she might have trouble herself, and asks Rika for advice. Rika says Ren would looks good in anything since she's so cute and tall. Emiri says Ren can pick a swimsuit in her favorite color. Ren instantly thinks of a white diary page. Rika says if she was just going off her own taste she would just pick pink. With Rika's help, Ren decides on a white, one-piece swimsuit. (Ren thinks a two-piece swimsuit would be too embarrassing.) When Ren tries it on, Rika says she looks cute and asks her to close her eyes. Rika then changes Ren's hairstyle, which causes a salesperson to exclaim it suits Ren very well, and that she matches Rika. After getting a message on her phone, Rika asks Ren if they should wait outside for Emiri and Hinano. After leaving the store, the girls order shaved ice. Rika orders strawberry syrup, while Ren takes a clear one. Rika says that she's a strawberry person because she likes pink, and says the ice feels just like strawberries. The clerk points out that they syrup doesn't actually change the flavor of shaved ice. Ren and Rika are shocked, but then start laughing. Rika says that Ren has been smiling more recently. Ren thinks it's because the diary of her heart has been filled by Rika's smile. |
