Magia☆Report

These events connect to the Magia☆Report comics, which have a comedic tone and often break the fourth wall.

FM Kamihama

At the FM Kamihama Radio Station, a Rumor Spreader describes the strange phenomenon that has taken hold there as Iroha-chan and Madoka-senpai begin their broadcast. Madoka-senpai apologizes for the "blood" incident from the previous week and expresses hope that Konomi-chan will recover soon, then walks up the side of the screen in a display of the freedom this world allows. Iroha-chan notes that they usually appear in Magia Report, which exists in a separate Kamihama, and Madoka-senpai agrees they have more flexibility here compared to a world where they could only talk at the bottom of the screen. Madoka-senpai is fought in the subsequent battle.^[1]
- Iroha-chan announces their popular listener advice series, where selected mail receives premium cooking implements, and reads a question from "Strongest Magical Girl-san" about how to become the strongest. Madoka-senpai suggests using a two hundred point scale. Iroha-chan then reads a question from "Mikazuki House Zashiki Warashi-san" about building self-confidence when normal people cannot see her, and Madoka-senpai advises running naked through the city. Tsuruno-chan and Sana-chan are fought in the subsequent battle. Iroha-chan reads another question from "Saint of Kamihama-san," who explains she created a social network group to help magical girls but it is now flooded with flamewars, asking if the feeling welling up in her throat is an immaculate conception. Madoka-senpai says no, and Holy Mami-chan is fought in the subsequent battle. When Madoka-senpai asks if Iroha-chan has any troubles of her own, Iroha-chan admits she has no four-star girls, so Madoka-senpai takes her phone, rolls, and shows the result, leaving Iroha-chan surprised before offering her aluminum foil and earning a disgusted reaction. Iroha-chan is fought in the subsequent battle.^[1]
- Himika-chan walks into the studio, there to collect her paycheck after waiting since Episode Thirty-Two of the first comic. Madoka-senpai notes her lengthy absence, and Himika-chan declares she is unmatched in Kamihama but admits she only had water and dirt to eat the day before. Iroha-chan gives her candy and asks why she is here, and Himika-chan explains she heard about the kitchen gadgets and came in person since she has no phone or internet, surprised to receive chocolate without a special occasion. Himika-chan is fought in the subsequent battle, after which Iroha-chan announces they are taking her as their assistant. Madoka-senpai explains that Konomi-chan was their assistant until the previous week, but after she started bleeding, it will take four weeks for her to heal, and then grabs Himika-chan.^[1]
- Iroha-chan introduces a song segment, but due to licensing issues, she provides her own music in the form of Tsuruno-chan's excited humming, which is poorly received. Madoka-senpai then begins its "Gourmet Roundup" segment, recalling how it angered the owner of Walnuts the previous week. The live reporter at the scene is Natsuki-chan, visiting Walnuts, where she meets Tsukuyo-chan and Tsukasa-chan, who recognize her from the program. Natsuki-chan notes that the show has become well-known, and she is fought in the subsequent battle. Natsuki-chan tells Alina-chan her omurice looks delicious as a Rumor creature watches, and when the owner Manaka-chan arrives and tells Natsuki-chan to get out, Natsuki-chan promises to return next week. Alina-chan is fought in the subsequent battle.^[1]
- Himika-chan introduces a break-time game with three covered platters, and Iroha-chan ends up with dango from Tsuruno-chan's family restaurant while Himika-chan gets the soufflé. Madoka-senpai is crushed to receive the goopy fish, and when Himika-chan asks to take her food home to share with her family, Madoka-senpai tells her she can take the fish too. Iroha-chan introduces radio shopping for Himika-chan's homemade seasoning, made with wild mushrooms and weeds and described as Himika-chan's family secret sauce, flavored with hate for the wealthy. A pie chart shows all responses are negative, and when Madoka-senpai sniffs it, the scent hurts her eyes and makes her scream.^[1]
- Yachiyo-chan suddenly barges in, demanding the broadcast stop, and when Himika-chan offers her sauce as a greeting, it hurts Yachiyo-chan's eyes as well. Yachiyo-chan tells the girls to look around, and everyone realizes they are inside a Rumor's barrier. She explains that the radio program and studio have become the Rumor of FM Kamihama, and its radio waves are magically overcoming dimensions and interfering with the normal Kamihama. Two worlds cannot exist in the main timeline, and the Magia Report world, which is the one with weaker presence, will cease to exist. Madoka-senpai declares war, and Iroha-chan insists they must defeat the Rumor first. The Rumor of FM Kamihama is fought in the subsequent battle, but it severely damages the girls. Yachiyo-chan explains its magic spreads via radio waves, making it impossible to avoid, until Himika-chan recalls that aluminum foil blocks radio waves. The girls wrap themselves in foil and fight the Rumor again, defeating it.^[1]
- The girls celebrate alongside a bandaged Konomi-chan, and Himika-chan receives boxes of aluminum foil as a reward. Iroha-chan announces that FM Kamihama has ended and they are taking a break from radio, then starts a game of Magia Record on her phone and begins a battle against five Madoka-senpais.^[1]

Madoka-senpai reveals her combat secrets to Iroha-chan, starting with Madocancer: she uses crab claws to intimidate enemies while insisting the claws prove how reluctant she is to hurt others. Later, Iroha-chan finds her scrubbing blood off those same claws and complaining about the stench.^[2]
- Madoka-senpai continues with Madocannon, a stronger attack she claims can numb a person to hurting others. Homura-chan appears and pleads with her to stay as she is, and the two prepare to fight together. For her third secret, Madocalibur, Madoka-senpai grows worried that the battles will never end, but Iroha-chan and Homura-chan bring her a sword in a stone. She pulls it free and emerges refreshed in gym clothes.^[2]

Kamihama Twinkle Rarity Star

The event begins as Iroha-chan excitedly hopes to be a 4-star. Madoka-senpai jumps up as the event is announced. Felicia-chan mentions a magical girl who can give them extra stars. The girls decide to wander around in hopes of finding her. Madoka-senpai recalls the weight training they once did. Mitama-chan tells them she does not offer raising rarity. The two girls despair as Mitama-chan huffs offendedly. She clarifies it is not that she cannot, just that she has never tried. Iroha-chan is then tied to a stone table while Felicia-chan and Madoka-senpai stand around her with torches and paper masks.^[3]
- In the end, Mitama-chan could only put a giant decorative star on Iroha-chan's butt. She then remembers hearing of a girl in the Sankyo district who could release Doppels with a potion. Madoka-senpai gives a thumbs up as Iroha-chan wearily makes a thank you pun. Mitama-chan claims her sense of humor is already 4-starred. Emiri-chan stands next to Hinano-chan, who pretends ignorance. Madoka-senpai snaps her fingers and has Felicia-chan discreetly hand Hinano-chan a Decagon Jelly, orange flavor. Hinano-chan claims she will not be bribed but shows them the unfinished potion. Felicia-chan punches at Emiri-chan, who explains the trouble they have had with it. Hinano-chan eats the jelly as she tells them the potion was never tested on anyone below a 5-star. Felicia-chan downs it and makes a muscly face.^[3]
- Asuka-chan claims she is the magical girl that raises rarity. Felicia-chan does not understand her rant about ritual suicide. Madoka-senpai wonders if hitting her will fix her. Nanaka-chan explains that rarity comes from personal growth, so the magical girl they seek must be themselves. Iroha-chan understands, but Asuka-chan does not. Yachiyo-chan has no such rumor listed in her file. Sana-chan suggests they find information where magical girls gather. Yachiyo-chan fusses over Felicia-chan's hair as Small Kyubey prompts the player to choose Banbanzai or Walnuts. The game continues prompting until Walnuts is chosen. Manaka-chan tells them about a regular customer who plans to open such a place. Iroha-chan apologizes to Tsuruno-chan mentally. Felicia-chan gobbles food and declares walnuts superior.^[3]
- The three girls stand outside a church with the Magius symbol. Inside, Holy Alina-chan introduces herself as the girl they seek. Iroha-chan explains they heard she could give extra stars. Alina-chan tells her to pray at the altar of "The rumor of the rarity stars." Iroha-chan prays for more stars. Madoka-senpai prays for more costumes for Homura-chan. Felicia-chan is just hungry. Alina-chan reveals the church is the body of the rumor. In exchange for stars, they will be captured and put into a prize box. Madoka-senpai and Felicia-chan are not sucked in due to wishing for other things. Alina-chan decides to use Iroha-chan as a hostage. Two nuns remove their cloaks to reveal the Amane twins in white feather cloaks.^[3]
- Iroha floats in the prize vat. A voice tells her she can escape by using 25 Magia Stones, a 1% chance. She tries and fails. Madoka-senpai and Felicia-chan use Connect against the twins. Iroha-chan sees the Doppel potion floating beside her. She takes it, remembering Hinano-chan's warning. She turns black as a magic symbol appears beneath her and Giant Iroha emerges. Alina-chan realizes she miscalculated and escapes with the twins, promising revenge.^[3]
- Homura-chan appears, revealing she spread the rumor, explaining she did it to help Madoka-senpai protect herself from things her time-stop cannot prevent. She learned of the rumor from an ex-black feather friend, Kuro-chan. She realizes she was wrong, as stronger magic brings greater risk. She apologizes. Madoka-senpai consoles her, telling her about her mother's strength. She thanks Homura-chan for making her stronger and braids Homura-chan's braids together. Homura-chan sheds a tear. Madoka-senpai smiles and invites everyone to play MagiReco. She is glad they are safe as they look up at an irrate, still-giant Iroha-chan.^[3]

Iroha-chan greets the player and explains her origins: she debuts in the Magia Report manga before the game launches, paired with Madoka-senpai to learn how to be a main character. After delays and a summer spent planting tomatoes, the game finally releases in August, leaving two Irohas existing side by side: the live2D game version and the cartoony Iroha-chan.^[4]
Iroha-chan spends her days in MagiRepo’s version of Kamihama after seeing off her counterpart.^[4]
- Eventually she is added to the game as a playable character. For her debut, she shows off being able to turn sideways and spoils Arc 2 by unveiling her Dark Iroha-chan form, who rants about space rocks until a white feather knocks off the Magius pendant controlling her, also revealing Madoka-senpai has been having fun with it. Iroha-chan expresses hope she can continue as a great protagonist, and Madoka-senpai turns to Ui-chan to begin her training.^[4]

Iroha-chan buys a photo frame and mentions Yachiyo-chan is saving up for a camera. Mitama-chan appears with a new lens and takes a series of bizarre photos: Iroha-chan in a different art style, Felicia-chan turning into a sweet potato, and a purple cabbage appearing as a beautiful girl. Felicia-chan runs off in frustration.^[5]
- Felicia-chan returns home to find Yachiyo-chan already has a new camera. When Yachiyo-chan asks her to pose for a test photo, Felicia-chan violently refuses, startling her.^[5]
