Eternal Sakura
- Cherry Blossom Manipulation: The Eternal Sakura has the ability to create and control cherry blossoms, manifesting them in her surroundings and even transforming them into physical constructs, such as a sword made of condensed flower petals.
- Water Manipulation: In her Swimsuit form, Sakurako is able to control water and use it to create the Uwasa Aquarium, even including the various aquatic creatures inside it.
- Charm: Through her “Secret Tamatebako” ability, she can subtly manipulate the perception of time for visitors, mimicking the effects of the legendary tamatebako box.
Rumor Spreader
- Spreading Rumors: As its name suggests, its job is spreading the warnings of the other rumors.
- Imperception: The Rumor Spreader is perceived as just a normal person while it spreads rumors. Its true form can only be seen by magical girls who are aware of the Rumors' existence, even if they don't have a full understanding of them.
Friendship Ending Staircase
- Mind Control: The victims of the staircase become brainwashed and are forced to clean stairs forever, as well as protect the rumor when necessary.
- Sound Manipulation: The Breakup Staircase attacks by ringing its bell and unleashing powerful soundwaves upon enemies.
- Flight: The Breakup Padlocks float around in the rumor's barrier.
- Chain and Thread Manipulation: The Breakup Padlocks attack by using chains and red threads.
Commoner's Horse
- Memory Manipulation: The Commoner's Horse creates copies of the people its victims have written the name of in its plaques. These copies aren't the real people, but are rather created based on the memories of its victims.
- Flight: The Summoning Plaques are able to fly with their wooden wings. In the anime, the Horse itself is able to fly.
Misery Water
- Luck Manipulation: Drinking the Misery Water will give someone 24 hours of good luck, which will be followed by a disaster of bad luck. In the anime, the Lucky Owl Water will give the drinker 24 instances of good luck each time it's drunk, with an appropriately matching case of incredibly bad luck to match the amount of good luck built up.
- Floating: In the anime, the Owl Water itself defies gravity and floats upwards.
- Misery Water: The Rhyton is the source of the Misery Water.
- Flight: Due to their wings, the Misery Owls are able to fly.
- Shapeshifting: In the anime, the Owls are able to disguise themselves as a circus troupe advertising their product.
Anonymous AI
- Technology Manipulation: The rumor is able to manipulate technology to talk to people on their phones, send emails and control radio waves.
- Shapeshifting: Ai is able to change the layout of her own labyrinth as well as change her own appearance.
- Teleportation: Ai can change someone's coordinates to have them removed from her labyrinth.
- Photographic Memory: The AI is able to remember everything.
- Flight: The Anonymous Mail are able to fly around with the paper airplanes on their backs.
- Technology Manipulation: The Mail can send thousands of emails to people, as well as appear on people's phones.
Memory Museum
- Mind Control: Viewing memories within the Memory Museum can subtly alter and influence the observer’s own thoughts, potentially changing their perception or even overwriting specific memories.
- Memory Manipulation: The Memory Curator is able to take or display people's memories, as well as print them into physical books to display within the Memory Museum. These books and their pages can also be used by the Curator to attack others. It enforces a memory trade with those who access its archives and failure to return a memory in exchange results in the Curator withholding escape or, in extreme cases, extracting all memories from the trespasser.
- Flight: In the anime, the Curator is able to swim through the air akin to a fish.
- Memory Manipulation: The Memory Staff familiars can write people's memories with their typewriter arms, and if their victim gets filled with too many memories, they will take away some of them.
Chelation Land
- Emotion Absorption: The Ferris Wheel’s gondolas absorb and store negative emotions such as rage, sorrow, and despair from people who come too close. The Wheel's aura encourages visitors to stay indefinitely, but riding the Ferris Wheel causes someone to experience intense regret.
- Flight: The Mascots that roam the theme park are able to fly around.
- Lightning Manipulation: The rumor attacks by generating turquoise lightning.
Flower Speaker
- Mind Control: Those who wear the Receiver Pendants are left in a calm, impressionable state, having their negative feelings suppressed and converting spoken words into appealing messages that resonate deeply with listeners, making them more suggestible and willing to follow commands. It influences thoughts and behaviors of listeners subtly, often without them realizing they are being manipulated, leading them to accept commands as their own will. The Speaker is capable of broadcasting thoughts and emotions to manipulate others’ feelings and actions.
- Sound Manipulation: The Flower Speaker itself attacks by using powerful soundwaves.
Hotel Fenthope
- Teleportation: Nemu is able to change the Hotel's location at will, also allowing only those who are invited into it.
- Fortress: In the anime, the entire labyrinth of the Interception Amusement Park Fortress Rumor of Chelation Fenthope: Release, is noted to be part of the same being, stopping Homura from using her time stop, as by simply being inside the Fortress' premises, she was considered to be in direct contact with the entire rumor. It is unknown if this applies to every rumor.
- Familiars: The Queen Bear creates the Worker and Soldier Bears, as well as allowing them to reside within its body.
- Whirlwinds: The Soldier Bears are able to create whirlwinds with their lower bodies, assumingly by spinning them very fast.
- Retractable Limbs: The claws of the Worker Bears extend and retract from beneath their heads.
Peeping Castle Town
- Visions: The rumor allows viewers to glimpse the historical past of Mizuna’s castle town by looking through between their own legs.
Crossing Path
- Assimilation: Steals the identity of the person who crosses it, taking on their appearance. It is said to be able to even swap identities between two people who cross the path at the same time.
Destiny Chocolate
- Fate Manipulation: The rumor conjures egg-shaped chocolates representing the fate of each customer; the bigger the fate, the bigger the resulting egg. If someone eats the destiny chocolate of another person, their own fate grows and they become stronger, while the victim is left with misfortune.
FM Kamihama
- Dimensional Radio Waves: The radio waves can cross dimensions and affect listeners across realms, spreading its influence far beyond Kamihama.
- Electricity Manipulation: If anyone tries to tune the radio away from its channel, they will receive a powerful electric shock.
Happy Stamp
- Luck Manipulation: Any troubled person who receives a Christmas card from this uwasa is set on a path of “happy accidents,” affecting everyone around them.
- Cheerfulness: The stamp creates a festive aura that amplifies joy and holiday spirit, spreading happiness and chaos by proximity.
Little Old Cocoa Shop
- Fate Manipulation: The shop steals the potential futures of young girls, converting their lost possibilities into cocoa for sale.
- Luck Manipulation: Those who lose their “possibility” to this shop face bad luck in love, especially around Valentine’s Day.
Stardust Time Viewer
- Precognition: The viewer allows users to send wishes to view a vision of their potential future, sparking hope and curiosity. It only shows a current, mutable future; the displayed fate is not guaranteed and can change with users’ actions.
Tangled Shrine
- Dream World: The Shrine creates a dream realm filled with endless doors and tangled pathways, offering rewards to those who can navigate through its maze correctly.
Cemetery Banquet Feast
- Armistice: The banquet compels rivals or antagonistic groups to participate harmoniously in its banquet, pushing them toward reconciliation.
Dreaming Mirror

- Fusion: The Coward is the first rumor which Nemu fused to another person.
- Envy Empowerment: It gains strength from jealousy and targets those envied by the host, often manifesting physical attacks against rivals.
Ripper Girl
- Memory Manipulation: If a person states an incorrect name in response to her question, the Ripper Girl takes some of their memories.
- Assimilation: Those who are unable to provide answers are absorbed, becoming new “Ripper Girls” who also seek lost identities. The Ripper takes their identity, only releasing them when someone who knows their previous victim's name answers correctly.
May Bells of Happiness
- Dream World: After the Ripper Girl's name is found, the May Bells of Happiness create a fantasy world to fulfill Kagari's happiness. This fantasy world pulls the minds of people from real life through its scent, slowly vanishing their bodies from the real world.
- Time Travel: The rumor was even able to pull Tsubaki's mind from the past before she died into the dream world.
- Unique Magic Manipulation/Fusion: The Rumor uses Kagari's magic to rewrite the memories of the victims who enter its labyrinth, change its appearance and even hide information from them. Those affected slowly break free of its influence by touching the lily of the valley flowers in its labyrinth.
Headless Bike Gang
- Charm: The Gang compels those who witness it to join its ranks, and it invokes a spirit of rebellion in those it touches, encouraging chaotic behavior and disregard for order.
Puzzle Tile Lock
- Teleportation: The Lock opens a secret path to hidden government facilities or safes when aligned, ensuring the path to the destination is guarded by traps.
Infinite Hospital Bed
