Summary
A Magical Girl who recently transferred to Akanegazaki. She has no parents and works part time to make a living. Although amiable and pleasant at school, she bears the cold face of an assassin once classes are over. Her target: Magical Girls. A tragic past lies concealed in her closed off heart.
Doppel Description
The Doppel of commitment. Its form is a kagerou.[1] A flame blazes within the master of this Doppel. It rages with her desire for vengeance, affirming her bond with the woman who once took care of her. While its fiery pillar is meant to exterminate the Witches she loathes so much, it also scorches its host, who bears the burden of a callous fate. Perhaps the fact that it takes the form of a mayfly represents the brevity of its host's life? That may be why its bells reverberate through to the very souls of those who hear them. What does she see beyond the flickering flames? Only she who controls them can say.

Suzune senses a barrier containing a familiar and a magical girl. She destroys the familiar, and the magical girl praises her strength. Suzune introduces herself and asks for the magical girl's name. After hearing it, she says she won't forget it and kills the magical girl. Later, Kyubey appears at Suzune's home and asks if she's continuing to hunt magical girls in the city. Suzune says there are no more magical girls left. Kyubey agrees, saying the magical girl Suzune killed the previous day was from outside the town. When Suzune falls silent, Kyubey wonders if she has regrets. Suzune says she doesn't and is just doing the right thing. Kyubey asks if she's going to hunt magical girls in the next city. Suzune says she is, and is transferring to Akanekezaki Middle School in Hohzuki City. She asks Kyubey if he will try to stop her. Kyubey says he just wants to give Suzune information. It turns out there's a city that is impossible for the Incubators to enter. When Suzune asks why, Kyubey says he doesn't know. Furthermore, magical girls are being drawn to the city. Suzune asks for its name. Kyubey says it's Kamihama. Suzune thinks it's a trap. Suzune believes that magical girls are "eggs" who hatch into witches, and if she dies in Kamihama then she can't break the eggs before they hatch. While she knows Kyubey intends for her to die, she can't ignore the magical girls there. Suzune says that with the fire magic "she" gave her, Suzune will kill magical girls and take their names as she had vowed to do. She mentally asks "Tsubaki" if she's doing something wrong. Entering Kamihama, she looks for a witch's barrier to hunt down magical girls. However, Suzune can't find anything unusual. Elsewhere, Kaede Akino finishes tending to some flowers. She spots Suzune looking at a Camellia flower (which are called "Tsubaki" flowers in Japan). Suzune is thinking about Tsubaki, who was a magical girl that became a witch. In a flashback, she asks Kyubey to change Tsubaki back, but Kyubey says that is impossible. Kyubey says Suzune can either defeat the witch or run. When Kyubey says that Tsubaki will spread her curse forever if she's not killed, Suzune kills her. Back in the present Suzune thinks that all Tsubaki left her was a chime, a charm, and her fire magic. It's shown that after Tsubaki died, Suzune swore to kill magical girls before they became witches. Kaede then walks up and asks Suzune if she loves Camellias. Suzune says she does. The girls introduce themselves. Kaede says she hasn't met many girls who like Camellias. She then says she comes by often to take care of them, but other students in her grade don't like them. Suzune says that when Camellias die they don't lose their petals one by one; the whole flower just falls off. Suzune says that some people think it's like fallen human heads, which causes Camellias to be considered unlucky. Kaede says the flowers didn't do anything wrong. Suzune thinks that her Tsubaki didn't eithier, but she still had to be killed. She thinks that she will bear the sins of killing the sinless. Kaede notices something is wrong with Suzune and asks her about it, but is interrupted by Momoko Togame and Rena Minami. Kaede bids Suzune goodbye and leaves with Rena and Momoko. Suddenly, Suzune senses a witch barrier, and sees a group of magical girls in black cloaks. The girls asks Suzune who she is. After Suzune introduces herself, she asks who they are. However, the cloaked girls say have no intention of revealing their names. However, they are willing to let Suzune fight the witch with them. Suzune thinks she's never seen a group like the cloaked girls, and decides to find out where their Soul Gems are so she can kill them quickly. Suddenly the witch appears, and Suzune attacks. Suzune destroys the witch effortlessly. The cloaked girls say she's dangerous. Suzune asks the girls for their names, but they refuse to answer. Suzune then attacks them. However, she's blocked by Mifuyu Azusa. Mifuyu asks Suzune why she attacked the girls. Suzune says Mifuyu is better off not knowing and attacks again. Mifuyu blocks the attack with magic, and says that next time she'll be forced to retaliate. Suzune notes that Mifuyu hasn't even used her best attack. Mifuyu asks Suzune if she will retreat, but Suzune has no intention of doing so. Mifuyu says she won't retreat either, as she needs to protect the others. She notices Suzune is looking for something. Suzune announces her intent to kill Mifuyu. Suzune attacks, mentally asking Tsubaki to lend her strength. Suzune abruptly vanishes, hiding even her magical presence, before suddenly reappearing with a surprise attack. Mifuyu dodges and counterattacks, much to Suzune's surprise. Mifuyu admits it was close. She thinks that Suzune is strong, and realizes Suzune was aiming for her Soul Gem. Mifuyu quickly deduces Suzune's motivations, and bluntly asks if she kills magical girls before they turn into witches. Suzune is shocked they know about it. Mifuyu says she's part of a group called the Wings of Magius, who try to save magical girls from their fates. Suzune says that's useless, and that all magical girls, no matter what they do, are merely dancing in the palm of the Incubator. Mifuyu asks if Suzune wishes to be saved, and Suzune says she doesn't. Mifuyu asks if there's anyone else she wants to save. Thinking of Tsubaki, Suzune says there was someone she would have given her life for, but ended up killing. Suzune says the conversation ends now and she won't let anyone escape. Mifuyu says she will protect the other girls, even though she thinks she might die. Suzune attacks... ...and is stopped by the arrival of Alina Gray, who puts Mifuyu into a barrier. Mifuyu telepathically asks Alina to let her out, but Alina says she needs to stay there. When Mifuyu asks why, Alina says that if Mifuyu's body gets injured Alina will have to delay her art. Mifuyu is disturbed by this. Alina attacks Suzune, saying she's mad Suzune tried to damage "a precious living artpiece". As the two fight, Alina thinks that Suzune has an unwavering will to kill, and wonder what her doppel would look like. However, she decides she wants to end the battle quickly. Suzune thinks she can't let herself be defeated and borrows Tsubaki's magic once again. She disappears to launch a surprise attack, but Alina dodges with a helpful warning from Mifuyu. Suzune notes she used up too much magic to keep fighting. Alina admits to Mifuyu that if the attack landed it would be game over. Alina asks how Mifuyu knew what would happen without looking. Mifuyu says she felt Suzune's magical presence disappear, and figured she would go for Alina's blind spot like she did earlier. Mifuyu asks to be let out, saying the view in the barrier is so stimulating it's making her want to commit suicide. Alina stutters and says it's just Mifuyu losing her earthly senses. She lets Mifuyu out of the barrier, but says she won't forgive her if she gets hurt. Mifuyu tells Suzune that the best she can do is take one of her opponents out. Suzune agrees and says further battle is pointless. She then vanishes. Mifuyu says she believes Suzune is going to keep lurking in Kamihama. She says Suzune seems driven by an urge that Mifuyu can't understand. Alina says she doesn't understand Suzune's motives either, but was excited by Suzune's bloodlust. Elsewhere, Suzune thinks there are powerful foes in Kamihama, and decides to be more careful when going on her next hunt. Sensing a new barrier, she asks Tsubaki to watch over her. Suzune says that even in Kamihama, the cycle continues... |

Trivia
- Her illustrator is GAN, author/artist of Puella Magi Suzune Magica
- Suzune is event-limited and must be obtained in the gacha.
Observations
- According to the official artbook, her doppel is actually mostly made up out of familiars, which are the wings with bells that trail behind the main body's head.
- While magical girls typically wear their soul gems in the form of a ring on their left hand, Suzune doesn't wear her soul gem as a ring on either of her hands. Whether this is an error on the part of the game developers or if she wears it somewhere else on her remains to be seen.
- It may be a reference to the manga, where none of the Hohzuki girls wore rings.
