Synopsis
"Dancing Magical Girls"
Five girls are recruited by Kyubey to cleanse impurities, one dance at a time!
Then one day, a chance at a media debut lands in their lap...
Story
Madoka Kaname meets Kyubey at the park who offers the girl to make a contract with him to become a Dancing Magical Girl. Kyubey explains that Dancing Magical Girls perform to cleanse the impurities on people's souls. Madoka agrees despite her lack of experience in dancing with Kyubey promising to provide training at his agency.
Hitomi tells Madoka and Sayaka of a rumor that a group of dancing magical girls perform to make people happy and wishes to see them in person one day. This worries Madoka and Sayaka since their duties is meant to be done clandestinely. They quickly went to meet the other Dancing Magical Girls to look for advice on how to quell the rumor.
Kyoko practices her dancing skills using the Dog Drug Reinforcement machine at the arcade under the watch of Mami and Homura. Homura is advised to smile more who insist smiling is not that required in dancing. Madoka and Sayaka finally caught up with the three to inform them of the rumor.
The group was hesitant concerned about their secret identities being revealed to the public and suggested going into a hiatus. Kyubey appears and suggest that the group should do a livestream and has already took upon himself to set up promotional materials for the event. In the end, the need to purify people's souls overrides any concerns. Kyubey remarked that a livestream in itself has less purifying power than a live performance but would have great returns if the stream goes viral.
The Dancing Magical Girls performed a dance at the school rooftop.
Madoka wakes up in her bedroom. The prior events were all just a dream.
