My Only Salvation (My Only Salvation ～魔法少女おりこ☆マギカ～) is an Event in Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story. It was released on the JP server on May 11th 2022, alongside the release of 
Oriko Mikuni (Final), and was available until May 23rd.
Story
Part 1
Oriko prepares snacks, including cookies and madeleines, for Kirika, who enjoys them immensely. Oriko reflects on her mission to prevent a catastrophic future by killing Madoka Kaname before she becomes the witch that will destroy the world. Meanwhile, news reports detail a disaster in Kamihama City caused by Walpurgisnacht, whom Oriko had predicted would attack Mitakihara instead. This discrepancy leaves Oriko confused and questioning her precognitive abilities.
She begins to suspect that Kamihama is the source of the instability in her predictions. Oriko recalls her original vision: Madoka Kaname would become a magical girl to fight Walpurgisnacht, exhaust her power, and transform into the worst witch. However, with Walpurgisnacht appearing in Kamihama instead, Oriko questions whether Madoka will still become a magical girl. Kirika returns, and Oriko gives her new orders.
Oriko instructs Kirika to observe Madoka without interfering and then investigate Kamihama, to which she obediently agrees. As Kirika begins her mission, she observes Madoka with her friends, and notes that Oriko did not mention Madoka's connection to Mami, adding to the confusion. Meanwhile, Oriko reflects on the possibility that Madoka may not become a magical girl after all, given the changes in her predictions. She resolves to stay strong and fulfill her mission as the magical girl destined to save the world.
Kirika reports back to Oriko, confirming that Madoka has indeed become a magical girl, and Oriko is shaken, as this contradicts her initial vision of the future. She reflects on her past, recalling how she lost her purpose after her father's suicide and found new meaning in her precognitive abilities as a magical girl. However, with her predictions failing, she questions the significance of her actions. Using her precognition, Oriko foresees a future conflict in Kamihama involving numerous magical girls fighting each other. She also glimpses a mysterious magical girl who wished for destruction, suggesting that this wish is the root cause of the chaos. Oriko realizes that the destruction she sought to prevent is not tied to Madoka Kaname but to this new threat. She concludes that her mission must now shift to eliminating this destructive magical girl to prevent the chain of destruction from spreading beyond Kamihama. Oriko resolves to send Kirika back to Kamihama for further investigation, determined to fulfill her role as the savior of the world.
2 days later, Oriko and Kirika reunite in Kamihama City, where Oriko explains her plan to isolate and target Mitama Yakumo, the Coordinator. Oriko reflects on Mitama's role in strengthening magical girls and the potential backlash if they interfere with her. Kirika expresses concern about Oriko coming to Kamihama, but Oriko reassures her and asks for details on the investigation. Oriko decides to manipulate the situation by spreading distrust toward Mitama, aiming to isolate her from other magical girls. She also encounters Shizuku Hozumi, another magical girl, one that had been seen Kirika before, and begins to lay the groundwork for her plan.
4 days afterwards, the Kamihama Magia Union discusses the recent injuries among magical girls, with many suspecting Mitama's adjustments as the cause due to Kirika using her magic to slow the girls after they'd been coordinated. Rumors spread, and the magical girls grow increasingly suspicious of Mitama. Oriko observes the growing distrust and prepares to escalate her plan. Meanwhile, the Union members express concern for Mitama's well-being, but the atmosphere is tense as the injuries continue to mount, so Oriko sees this as the perfect opportunity.
Oriko pretends to struggle in a battle against a witch, drawing the attention of Iroha and Ui. Iroha helps Oriko and after Oriko lies about her identity, saying that she's recently moved to Kamihama, Iroha introduces her to the Magia Union. Oriko feigns gratitude and expresses interest in joining them, and during their conversation, Oriko subtly hints at her knowledge of Coordinators causing issues. Iroha and the others are torn between investigating the injuries and helping Oriko, but Yachiyo decides to stay behind to hear Oriko's story while the others tend to Shizuku, who has been injured.
Yachiyo listens as Oriko recounts a story about a Coordinator from her hometown who caused similar issues from her own emotional issues, leading to injuries and eventually disappearing. Oriko implies that Mitama might be experiencing the same problems, though she claims it’s just a rumor. Yachiyo is troubled by the story but remains cautious. Meanwhile, Iroha and the others focus on treating Shizuku, who was severely injured. The Union members grow more concerned about Mitama, but Yachiyo reaffirms that Mitama is still their ally.
Kirika executes her part of the plan by using her magic to disrupt the battles of magical girls who recently received adjustments from Mitama. She targets Shizuku, leaving her unconscious, and then confronts Mitama directly. Oriko observes from the shadows, satisfied that her plan is progressing as intended.

The next day, Oriko observes the aftermath of Mitama's decision to close her shop, satisfied that her plan is progressing smoothly. Kirika reunites with Oriko, and they discuss the next steps in their plan. Kirika questions whether they should have killed Shizuku, but Oriko insists that their goal is to isolate and eliminate Mitama, not to create unnecessary chaos. Oriko decides to personally confront Mitama, while Kirika continues to sow discord in Kamihama by spreading grief seeds and attacking magical girls. Oriko prepares to face Mitama, determined to fulfill her mission of "salvation."

Kirika continues her attacks, keeping the magical girls distracted and unable to focus on Mitama. Meanwhile, Oriko enters Mitama's shop, pretending to check on her well-being. Mitama, acting oddly and unaware of Oriko's true intentions, offers her tea. Oriko seizes the opportunity to strike, determined to eliminate Mitama and fulfill her mission of preventing the destruction foretold in her visions.
Part 2
Oriko attempts to assassinate Mitama in her shop but fails when "Mitama" dodges the attack. Elsewhere, the real Mitama confesses her guilt over the recent attacks targeting her and had revealed earlier about Kirika’s threat to kill her and her allies. Kanagi urges Mitama to open up, but Mitama struggles with self-blame. Meanwhile, Oriko is ambushed by Rena, who was transformed into Mitama, Momoko, and others who set a trap for her. The Kamihama magical girls reveal they anticipated the attack and used themselves as bait to protect Mitama.
Rena and Momoko confront Oriko, exposing her as the mastermind behind the attacks. Iroha confronts Oriko, demanding answers, but Oriko deflects, claiming her actions are "for the world’s sake." The group deduces Oriko and Kirika’s partnership, and as they're about to restrain her, Kirika bursts in, gets injured by the attacks, and rescues Oriko. They escape to Mitakihara, where Oriko tends to Kirika’s wounds. Kirika insists she’s fine, but Oriko reflects on her miscalculations and the unexpected loyalty of Mitama’s friends.
The next day, Kirika tries to cheer up a despondent Oriko, who struggles with guilt over Kirika’s injuries and her mission’s failure. Oriko reaffirms her resolve to save the world, admitting she underestimated the strength of Mitama’s friendships. She questions whether revealing her apocalyptic visions to the Kamihama group would have changed their stance, but concludes that they would still oppose her.
Shizuku awakens and informs the group that Kyoko Sakura and Mami Tomoe were previously attacked by Kirika. She reveals Oriko’s connection to Kyoko and explains Kirika’s "speed-slowing" magic caused the injuries. The group connects Oriko and Kirika to the recent chaos, realizing their goal was to isolate Mitama. They resolve to protect Mitama and prepare for another attack. Yachiyo and Iroha plan to station guards at Mitama’s shop while investigating Oriko’s cryptic claim about acting "for the world’s sake."
Back in Mitakihara, Oriko discovers her late father’s journal hidden in his study. Reading it, she learns he viewed her perfection as cold and distant, driving him to suicide. The journal’s final entries suggest he felt overwhelmed by her transformation after her mother’s death. Shocked, Oriko rejects the idea that her actions contributed to his despair, but the revelation destabilizes her resolve. Meanwhile, Kirika sleeps, healing but unaware of Oriko’s turmoil as she grapples with her identity and purpose.
Oriko reflects on her wish to "know the meaning of her life," which granted her precognitive powers. She recalls the vision of the catastrophic future, and how her plans were thwarted when Madoka Kaname becomes a magical girl despite her efforts, and her precognitive powers seem to betray her. Oriko spirals into despair after discovering her father’s journal, which reveals he felt overwhelmed by her perfection and ultimately chose to escape her by taking his own life. Feeling betrayed and lost, Oriko reaffirms her mission to eliminate Mitama Yakumo, believing it is her sole purpose to save the world.
Kirika wakes up and reaffirms her loyalty to Oriko, explaining that her wish was to become someone who could serve Oriko unconditionally. Oriko questions Kirika’s devotion but ultimately accepts it, deciding to use Kirika to achieve her goals. Oriko reveals her wish was to find meaning in her life, and Kirika urges her to use her to fulfill that purpose by saving the world. Oriko resolves to strike again, this time with a more calculated plan to eliminate Mitama.
The two prepare for their next attack, observing the increased activity around Mitama’s shop as the Kamihama magical girls rally to protect her. Oriko predicts that the guards will thin out by midnight, giving them the perfect opportunity to strike. As the night progresses, the Kamihama group discusses their strategy, with Momoko and others leaving while Iroha and the Mikazuki Villa team stay behind to guard Mitama. Oriko and Kirika prepare to launch their assault, using Kirika’s speed-slowing magic to disrupt the defenders.
Kirika lures the Kamihama magical girls into a narrow alley, neutralizing their numerical advantage. She uses her speed-slowing magic to overwhelm them, while Oriko supports her from the shadows. The Kamihama group struggles to counter Kirika’s attacks, with Sana and others doing their best to protect Mitama. Despite their efforts, Kirika’s relentless assault pushes them to their limits when Oriko intervenes directly.
The battle intensifies as Kirika prepares to become a witch, but unexpectedly unleashes her Doppel. The Kamihama group is caught off guard by her increased power, but they manage to hold their ground. Kirika’s Doppel runs out, making her faint and giving the Kamihama group a chance to counterattack. Oriko steps in to protect Kirika, but the Kamihama magical girls, led by Kanagi and Yachiyo, press their advantage while Oriko still refuses to surrender.
Yachiyo and Kanagi offer Oriko a chance to surrender, but she refuses. She reflects on her wish and Kirika’s loyalty, vowing to continue fighting despite the overwhelming odds.
Nearly out of magical energy, she fights Yachiyo and Kanagi and struggles to protect herself. Kirika's unconscious body moves on its own and shields Oriko from an attack. Yachiyo and Kanagi exploit Oriko’s weakening state, noting Kirika’s movements are predictable due to her lack of consciousness. Oriko panics as Kirika becomes a target for most of their attacks, realizing her resolve to let Kirika become a witch to save the world is crumbling.
Oriko experiences a vision of her past loneliness and confronts a version of herself, admitting what she really wanted was not “to find a reason to be alive” but rather to find someone to accept her existence. She realizes Kirika—who vowed to do anything for her—is her entire world, and this acceptance awakens a new power within Oriko, combining her strength with Kirika’s. Yachiyo and Kanagi are stunned by the surge of energy as Oriko takes on her Final form, which surpasses even a Doppel’s power.
Oriko resolves to end the conflict, declaring she will protect her own world and eliminate anyone threatening it, including Mitama. She confronts Mitama directly, but Mitama refuses to flee, trusting her friends to protect her. Oriko attacks, determined to kill Mitama to prevent the world’s prophesied ruin.
Exhausted, Oriko defeats Yachiyo and Kanagi but collapses. Mitama confronts her, offering a deal: kill her but spare Kamihama’s magical girls. Oriko sees a vision of Mitama’s friends and how they mirror Kirika’s loyalty to Oriko. Mitama explains her desire to protect her own world, which is her friends, and suggests Oriko’s obsession with salvation stems from similar motives. Oriko, recognizing their parallel struggles, hesitates to strike.
Oriko relinquishes her vendetta, admitting she and Mitama both fight to protect their loved ones. Mitama proposes reconciliation, and Oriko agrees. Momoko, Rena and Kaede arrive to help Mitama, and together they carry everyone inside Mitama's shop to get better. Iroha mediates the meeting for their forgiveness, and Oriko and Kirika apologize for their actions, promising to atone. Iroha accepts their remorse, emphasizing unity among magical girls, and Oriko says that naivete like Iroha's will be the one to save the world. Oriko and Kirika return to Mitakihara and the Oriko bakes a cake for Kirika, enjoying their peace and shared life together.
