The year is 2225, and humanity has spread to the stars. On Earth, Sorana Nagiboshi lives in quiet seclusion. Then Lilly, the streamer she adores, reaches out and asks Sorana to guide her through a submerged city. And so begins a story that will change humanity's fate...[2]

A girl living in the Old Capital, a metropolis deserted as the sea rose. She studies via a correspondence school and makes a living from underwater salvage using a submarine. Her shy and pessimistic demeanor keeps her from having friends, yet she finds joy in supporting her favorite streamer, Lilly Candy.[4]
