Story
In the Lighthouse, Name looks at A-Q's art corner, seeing how many Portraits there are. She thinks she should ask A-Q for help. In a memory, a busy A-Q asked Name to clean up the shelves, as they are too cluttered. Back in present, Name feels helpless. Because the shelves are full, she decides to start by taking everything out, but it doesn't budge. Name pulls them harder, but that makes them fall too fast and hit her head, making her pass out.
Name wakes up, but in a weird white space instead of the Lighthouse, she notices a Portrait and then hears a voice getting nostalgic over it. The Kioku of Sayaka Miki and Madoka Kaname talk about the Portrait, Name doesn't recognize them at first, but when she looks at the "Typical Morning Greetings" Portrait they were talking about, she recognizes them as the girls from the Portrait. The Kioku of Madoka, Sayaka and Mami Tomoe reminisce about Mami explaining the basics of Magical Girl to them. The Kioku of Sayaka gets sad about Kyosuke Kamijo. The Kioku of Madoka and Sayaka get sad when looking at the "Duty-Bound to Battle" Portrait, remembering Mami's death, but the Kioku of Homura Akemi reminds them that it's the fate she chose when becoming a Magical Girl.
Kioku Madoka remembers when Homura told her, and how she didn't know what she was supposed to do. She talks about Sayaka and Kyoko, and how they both had things they regret not doing earlier. Kioku Madoka remembers how Homura kept repeating time to save her. Kioku Kyoko Sakura reminds Madoka how she told her about using magic for your own sake, but knows she gave her own life to kill Oktavia von Seckendorff.
Name wonders if anyone would still have made their wishes if they knew they couldn't go back, and Kioku Homura tells her that there's definitely girls who would still make the contract, saying just how many miracles can be done with such magic. Kioku Madoka agrees, saying that she doesn't want their wishes to end in despair, saying how a little miracle can be enough to be a real one. The Portraits disappear, but there's still many left.
The Kioku of Iroha Tamaki reminisces about her first time in Kamihama City and her search for Ui Tamaki, which the Kioku of Yachiyo Nanami relates to, remembering that she was looking for Mifuyu. Kioku Tsuruno Yui appears and expresses how she wanted to find her too. The Kioku of Felicia Mitsuki remembers how she met Iroha too, also bringing up Sana Futaba and "that Uwasa", Kioku Sana thinks it's all thanks to Ai. Kioku Iroha believes that all of them meeting might have been a coincidence, but their allyship became something natural. Kioku Yachiyo remembers how they finally found the people they were looking for, but had to deal with the Wings of the Magius, Kioku Iroha remembers how hard they fought. The Kioku of Ui Tamaki and Mifuyu Azusa appear, Kioku Ui is happy that she was found, but Kioku Mifuyu worries about the trouble she cause while in the Wings of the Magius, which Kioku Yachiyo agrees with. Kioku Felicia believes that what mattered was it working out in the end, with Kioku Iroha agreeing. Name thinks about those words.
The Kioku of Kirika Kure tries to say something honest to the Kioku of Oriko Mikuni, but Oriko knew what she wanted to say. The Kioku of Jeanne d'Arc thinks about her wish, wanting to keep fighting. Name thinks about Darc's words and looks through the other Main Quest Portraits, asking herself if more will be added.
Name notices that in the next batch of Portraits everyone looks happier. Kioku Madoka remembers how encouraging Homura was when she became a Magical Girl, asking Kioku Homura if she believes Madoka has grown since, with Kioku Homura saying yes. The Kioku of Tsukasa Amane remembers how people thought she and Tsukuyo weren't twinlike, which Kioku Tsukuyo agrees it was a shock, but they know that they discovered themselves since then. Kioku Sayaka reminisces about going to the beach with Madoka and Mami, and how long ago it feels. Kioku Madoka remembers that Iroha recommended that spot, to which Kioku Iroha asks her if they had fun. The three think about that time and Kioku Sayaka brings up a game that they played at night, which confuses Kioku Madoka. Kioku Madoka thinks about what happened, but can't remember clearly.
The Kioku of the Uwasa of the Eternal Sakura thinks about how she has grown since studying at Emiri Kisaki's counseling room, believing she might be half a year old right now. The Kioku of Mel Anna thinks the Portrait they see makes her look uncool, but the Kioku of Momoko Togame reminds her of how much of a mess she was at the time. Kioku Tsuruno teases her about her chaotic fortunes and Kioku Yachiyo scolds her for not keeping her promise. Kioku Mifuyu tries to clear up the situation. The Kioku of Mitama Yakumo teases Kioku Momoko about being jealous, and says she wants to cook for them again, which makes Kioku Momoko's stomach hurt, Kioku Mitama takes that as hunger.
The Kioku of Halloween Karin Misono thinks about her adventure to save Halloween, how she met and parted with other, but she knows the journey's far from over. Kioku Karin wonders if it will have a happy ending, but is cutoff by The Kioku of Halloween Alina Gray and Halloween Mami, Kioku Alina scolds her for yelling to herself, but Kioku Karin argues she's just giving a recap. Kioku Mami wonders what awaits her at the end of her journey. The Kioku of Christmas Sayaka talks about her and Christmas Kyoko's times at the St. Magica Academy, and how they had to deliver the presents themselves. Kioku Kyoko complains about the VR training they had to go through and Kioku Sayaka sympathizes with her for having to deal with the naughty kids. They're happy that they managed to pull it off in the end. The Kioku of Rika Ayano thinks about their disagreements and their successful christmas, which the Kioku of Ren Isuzu agrees with.
Kioku Madoka and Kioku Iroha bond over the hanetsuki ceremony they had together. The Kioku of Koito Asako thinks about how much she has changed, but promises to only keep moving forward. Kioku Mami and Kioku Kyoko train introducing their magical bakery, but Kioku Kyoko has her doubts.
Name only wants to see more, but notices that the next Portrait is the last one, but comes across a pitch black Portrait. Suddenly a Magical Girl Name hasn't seen before appears and calls the Portrait amazing, Name gasps but the girl just explains how much she loves it. Name asks her if they've met, which shocks the girl. Kioku Homura and Kioku Madoka explain to Name that she hasn't met her yet, but she is a Kioku Name will encounter in the future. Kioku Madoka and Homura express how excited they are to meet her, with Name agreeing. Name starts to float, being surrounded by all the Kioku that give her strength, seeing the new girl as a Kioku too.
A-Q yells at Name to wake up, which is successful. A-Q explains to her that she fainted, probably from knocking everything over and getting hit on her head. Name remembers doing that and thinks about her dream, A-Q notices her sad expression and Name explains her dream. Name mentions the Magical Girl that wasn't in any of the portraits, but when A-Q presses on, Name only remembers that she was a Magical Girl, kinda frustrating A-Q. Name suddenly remembers being told that she will meet her in the future, and A-Q confirms that it's likely Name will meet her Kioku, which excites her.
