(Summary is by TigerEye81)
Chapter 11: Reportage of Intersections
Episode 1: Records for the Commandment
With everyone finally united in order to restore the Automatic Purification System, now that Himena’s big plan has been thwarted, Kagome has decided to take this brief moment of peace and preparation as an opportunity to interview the other factions, without the fear of conflict. For her first interview, she meets up with Yuna in the park, who is a bit intimidating with her words at first, but she is just eager to get interviewed.
Kagome beings the interview by asking about how the Promised Blood have been doing. Yuna tells her that after the Himena-incident, everyone went back to Futatsugi, and thus, returned to school. Although they do visit Kamihama, Yuna feels like she wouldn’t be able to make connections with anyone, due to her previous actions, but is aware that it is important to at least interact with them, just like they do with their peers back at home. By taking this step, Yuna hopes to look forward in a new direction, one leading to a bright future for everyone, and following Iroha’s example of such. Yuna shares that the ‘raising Ao for fourteen years’ event has not only changed her life, but is the catalyst for her newfound motivation.
Kagome asks about how Ao is doing, and Yuna responds by implying that she’s doing just great, probably beating Ranka in a new video game as Hikaru watches on. Just then, Juri rushes over, having had trouble looking for Yuna in such a large park. Juri asks if she is interrupting anything, before telling Kagome that she was hoping to get interviewed as well, where Yuna comments that it is unusual for Juri to wanting to get involved in this kind of thing, causing her brief agitation.
Yuna and Juri then explain to Kagome that despite the Promised Blood’s official disbandment, there are still some members going after Kamihama Magical Girls. Although both girls are dissipointed by this news, they know that this conflict will hopefully be resolved entirely once they all get the Automatic Purification System back.
With more interviews planned for the day, Kagome thanks Yuna and Juri for their time. Yuna begins to say that she wanted to talk more, but suddenly remembered something important. she sends Juri off to join the other members, implying that this was something private about her.
When just the two were remaining, Yuna reveals that Juri’s magic-induced rampages have come to a complete stop, notable after the fourteen years event, which possibly humbled her. Yuna stated that she believed this was a sign of change for the future, before taking her leave. Kagome stands quietly as she reflects on that last part, and briefly considers going home.
Aru-chan silently contemplates that it was not a mere sign, but an actual change, before realizing that Kagome hasn’t used them to talk yet today.
Episode 2: Records of Learning
We get a glimpse into the near future, specifically regarding Kagome contracting with Kyubey. Aru-chan silently reflects on this, and hopes that Kagome can continue her interviews with this level of confidence.
In the present, Kagome goes to find Shizuka at an intersection, and spots a large crowd accompanying her. As Kagome wonders what this is all about, she overhears Sunao and Chiharu teaching their members about modern marketing and technology. Kagome then manages to track down Shizuka, and asks her about what is going on. After greeting Kagome, Shizuka explains that the Tokime Tribe is participating in a hands-on version of social studies. She goes on to explain that she has been exploring the city, and learning many new things, which has deeply impacted her, due to growing up secluded in the mountains. Shizuka then asks Kagome if she remembers the Tokime’s mission, which is to protect Japan, and to keep their wishes alive, but in order to do that, they need to start looking over to the future, and now they have the perfect chance to do so. Chiharu suddenly interrupts their conversation, having become overwhelmed from a member’s question, with Sunao also being unable to answer it. Turns out, the member had overheard someone talking about an influencer, and wanted to know what that meant. When Shizuka was unable to answer, Kagome stepped in and explained it to them. Amazed with her vast knowledge of the modern world, the entire Tokime Tribe began swarming Kagome with endless questions, with the rest of the interview plan being long forgotten.
Aru-chan silently looks on, stating that Kagome’s determination has now become solidified.
Episode 3: Records That Left Implications
After Kagome’s time with the pure hearted Tokime Tribe, she stops at Livia’s trailer next. Because of recent events, Puella Care has become more popular. However, the surge of activity has led to her becoming overwhelmed, especially with only three members. Kagome offers to reschedule their interview, but Livia tells her that she’s fine using her break time for it. Yozuru and Sudachi pass by them, which leads Livia into taking the discussion somewhere more private. As they get up to leave, Kagome sees the worried expressions of the other coordinators, as if they knew what would be talked about. When they have reached their new spot, Livia explains to Kagome that along with Puella Care’s business practices, the atmosphere amongst the trio has changed as well. When Livia had recently been worked on by her two peers, they were filled with a sense of dread. Curiosity getting the better of her, Sudachi looks further into Livia’s soul gem, only to suddenly collapse upon catching a glimpse of her past. Livia looks back on the incident while acknowledging the over-abounding negative energy within herself, thanks to her wish and past. She is thankful that Yozuru and Sudachi are in her life, and put their trust in her, though she regrets lying for their own safety. Although it wont be pretty, she does hope to tell them the truth someday.
Livia then apologizes upon seeing Kagome’s troubled expression, and decides to change the topic to something she wanted to know more about; the Uwasa of the Wind Evangelist.
Kagome obliges and recaps to her all she knew about the rumor and Aru-chan, but admitted to herself that neither her nor the rumor knew everything about each other. Still, she was able to describe the rumor’s birth to that of a song.
A flashback is shown of when Nemu unleashed all her creations, including Kagome’s rumor, in order to take down Holy Alina. The rumor somehow managed to escape from the initial chaos, and eventually found Kagome, choosing her to be its host.
Aru-chan internally reveals that they have been preparing Kagome all this time, and now that she was finally ready, there was soon to be a big change…
Episode 4: Records For the Future
Kagome looks back on her interview with Livia, and felt as though she had a dark ominous shadow with her, but in the end, she considered it a valuable experience overall. Finally, Kagome meets up with Shigure and Hagumu at the site in which Himena was defeated. The duo were unnerved at the thought of returning to such a place, but nonetheless looking forward to their interview, and share some things that happened behind closed doors.
Surprisingly, Himena initially wanted to all magical girls that were not her close companions to be executed, which included a handful of Neo-Magius members. The group began to divide within itself, threatening to collapse altogether, but Himena was able to stop any further destruction once she had a change of heart. At the time, Shigure and Hagumu were inspired by Himena’s persuasion, and decided to try her methods themselves, along with San, Miyuri, and even Alexandra, though in the end, they only did this to recruit more members. Thinking back, Shigure believes that if they had all worked on their persuasion together, they could have prevented the eventual disbandment of the Neo-Magius.
The remainders of the group now prioritize restoring the APS, seeing it as especially important because of Himena’s enthusiasm for the project, and that she is still under the influence that she is a princess.
Kagome was satisfied with how the rest of the interview went, and soon after, she received some important news.
The following morning, every faction received a reminder to attend a meeting with Tasuke Satomi, giving them directions to the Folklore of Zero’s hideout within the Kamihama aquarium.
Aru-chan narrates that things are finally starting to set into motion, and that Kagome has decided to make her contract with Kyubey, after Touka and Nemu’s explosive transformation. Because of the latter, Kagome believes that she had been cursed, but has also been prepared for what was to come. She has changed countless times already, akin to that of moulting.
This will be the start, of a new resolution…
