Chapter 3: Be Prepared
The following is a summary posted on 4chan's /pmmm/ general.
- Ranka and Juri are still pissed off that their plan to wipe out KMU leadership failed and they make some very suggestive comments towards Sakuya.
- Sakuya is given the task of killing any Kamihama Meguca who comes into Kamihama.
- Meanwhile Juri goes to report to Yuna her suspicions at her apartment. Yuna agrees that something must be done so Sakuya doesn't get in the way again.
- Sakuya reminisces back on the past when Yuna still smiled. They met while fighting a Witch and teamed up
- After school Sakuya's kouhai notice that she is worried about something so they invite her out to relax. One suggests going to a sports shop store, another to check out a 'Local Idol'
- Turns out Sakuya is a very popular Senpai despite her eyes.
- We then transition the Local Idol concert, did you know that Futatsugi has a Local Idol...
- ...And it's SayuSayu! Apparently Futatsugi counts as part of Kamihama
- She puts on an amazing concert. With her is Mayu and Ria who are there to support her.
- Sakuya decides to lure them into a trap by pretending she's a fan of SayuSayu.
- Later SayuSayu meets up with Ria and Mayu. Ria has been teaching SayuSayu to relax, which is improving her performances
- Sakuya takes her chance and tries to get a handshake from SayuSayu, Ria immediately blocks her thus showing she is also protecting SayuSayu
- Sakuya tells the three that she knows the area and invites them out for waffles nearby the Futatsugi Station. Everyone loves waffles
- So Sakuya leads them Sayuki, Mayu and Ria down a deserted alleyway, which reeks of rape and murder.
- At this point she tel-coms nearby Futatsugi mooks for help
- Sakuya takes her chance and transforms ready to shank SayuSayu
- But a random Futatsugi mook appears out of nowhere as reinforcement, but for SayuSayu!
- Turns out the nearest mook is a fan of SayuSayu and she can't let her angel SayuSayu die...do you know how much it costs to enter a lottery and organize accommodation + transport? Idolfagging is expensive.
- Sadly looks like mook could not make it to SayuSayu's live in Futatsugi
- SayuSayu is unharmed and the Mook and Sakuya go at it
- Ria is surprised that Sakuya is a Magical Girl, apparently she is too dumb to check the rings see Sasara, see Ashley. Ria dumb blonde
- After initial shock Ria transforms
- Still in her civilian state SayuSayu tries to stop the Mook-chan and Sakuya's fight.
- Sakuya then tells Ria to take SayuSayu and Mayu and go
- The Three Mizunas retreat back to Kamihama, having not done much of importance, even though they were planning to find PB's base
- Sakuya and Mook-chan stop fighting and talk out how conflicted they feel about the War
- Meanwhile Hikaru is watching. She picks up her phone and tells Yuna that Sakuya let Kamihama invaders go.
- And all SayuSayu wanted to do was put on an Idol performance. Hikaru hates the idols, and would not watch shit like Nijigasaki and Ochikobore~ssu!
- At night Sakuya gets called to the Catacombs of Futatsugi Magical Girls. She is confronted by Yuna and Juri on her betrayal
- Yuna fights her, breaking her rule about no fighting on sacred space
- They fight to a draw and Sakuya's soul gem darkens but Yuna still saves her. It seems Yuna remembers Sakuya's loyalty and friendship
- Yuna lets Sakuya go and tells her that, unfortunately, she can't let go of revenge.
- The episode ends with Yuna, Juri and Sakuya standing on that bridge staring out into the distance
- On another note, glad to see Mizunas finally picking up their weight. It's like the Vietnam War what's going on in Kamihama. Poor Easterners fighting on the frontline while rich assholes from Mizuna defer duty.
