(Narration)	Crash, here comes another one. A teeny, tiny, colorless bear cub. A dull little bear cub that will live here from now on.	今、ポトリと落ちてきたものもまた 色のないものでした 小さな小さなクマの子 今日からここに住む、くすんだ子
(Narration)	The bear cub is happy about this. "Now no one will be mean to me ever again," she thinks.	クマの子は安心していました 「これでもう、意地悪されることはないんだ」 …と
(Narration)	The bear cub isn't good at talking. She can never express what she's thinking.	クマの子はおしゃべりが得意ではありません 自分が思ったことすら ちゃんと伝えられないのです

(Narration)	The bear cub was looking forward to going to the World of Light.	クマの子は光の世界に行ける日を 楽しみにしていました
(Narration)	To get to the World of Light, you must cast out all your memories of the world before.	光の世界に行くためには 落っこちてくる前の世界の思い出を すべて捨てなければなりません
(Narration)	This was no problem for the bear cub. She was desperate to forget these memories as quickly as possible.	でも、クマの子にとって 灰色の世界へ来る前の思い出は 早く捨ててしまいたいものでした
(Narration)	So when the gatekeeper of the World of Light asked her if she had any regrets, her answer was an immediate, "No."	だから、光の世界に続く門を守る門番に 「未練はないの？」と聞かれたときも すぐに「ない」と答えたのです

(Narration)	A glittering, resplendent Spirit of Light appeared before the bear cub. It was the most dazzling thing the bear cub had ever seen.	クマの子の前に キラキラと輝く“光の精”が現れました クマの子は、その光の精のことを とってもまぶしいと思いました
(Narration)	"Look," says the Spirit of Light. The bear cub looks where the spirit is pointing and sees a faint color.	「見てごらん」と光の精は言います 光の精が指す方を見ると そこは薄く色づいていました
(Narration)	"The world is not actually gray; it is full of colors. You just haven't seen them yet," the Spirit of Light says.	「本当は灰色なんかじゃないんだよ 世界には色があふれているんだ 君はまだそれに気がつけていないだけ」 光の精は続けます
(Narration)	"Come, let us search for some sparkles. Only then will the world show you more color!" The bear cub gave a little nod. She wanted to see a world full of color.	「さぁ、一緒にキラキラを探しに行こう！ キラキラを見つければ 世界はもっとたくさんの色を見せてくれるよ」 クマの子は小さく頷きました 色であふれた世界を見てみたくなったのです

(Narration)	The bear cub didn't want this to end. She wanted to stay with the Spirit of Light and see even more sparkles.	そしてクマの子は、光の精と一緒に もっとたくさんのキラキラを見てみたいと 望むようになったのです

(Narration)	This Gray World, this world without color, is a temporary resting place for those who have met their end.	ここは色のない世界 灰色の世界 終わりを迎えたものたちの 束の間の居場所です
(Narration)	Crash, here comes another one. A teeny, tiny, colorless bear cub. A dull little bear cub that will live here from now on.	今、ポトリと落ちてきたものもまた 色のないものでした 小さな小さなクマの子 今日からここに住む、くすんだ子

(Narration)	A glittering, resplendent Spirit of Light appeared before the bear cub. It was the most dazzling thing the bear cub had ever seen.	クマの子の前に キラキラと輝く“光の精”が現れました クマの子は、その光の精のことを とってもまぶしいと思いました
(Narration)	"Look," says the Spirit of Light. The bear cub looks where the spirit is pointing and sees a faint color.	「見てごらん」と光の精は言います 光の精が指す方を見ると そこは薄く色づいていました

(Narration)	The bear cub realized the Spirit of Light was disappearing from her world. The world that had once sparkled and beamed with color had suddenly lost its shine. It went back to gray.	クマの子は、世界から光の精が いなくなっていることに気づきました それまでキラキラと彩りに満ちていた世界は 不意に輝きを失い… もとの灰色の世界に戻ってしまいました

(Narration)	The gatekeeper asked the bear cub, "Have you truly no regrets? Is there nothing you wish to leave behind in this world?"	門番は再びクマの子に聞きます 「本当に未練はない？ この世界に残したいものはひとつもないの？」
(Narration)	The last time she was here, the bear cub had answered, "No." But things were different now.	前に、門の前に来たとき クマの子は「ない」と答えました でも、今は違います
(Narration)	The bear cub held out a journal. "I wish to leave behind this journal I wrote in colored pencil."	クマの子は１冊の日記帳を差し出しました 「僕は、色鉛筆で綴った日記を残したい」
(Narration)	Her journal contained entries from the day she met the Spirit of Light, and every day since.	その日記帳には クマの子が光の精に出会ってから 今日までの出来事が記されています
(Narration)	In it, she had written about all the sparkles of light that the Spirit of Light had shown her.	クマの子が光の精に見せてもらった たくさんのキラキラが綴られているのです
(Narration)	The gatekeeper opened the gates. "Go," he said. The bear cub thanked him and set off.	門番は門を開けてくれました 「行っておいで」 クマの子はお礼を言って旅立ちます
(Narration)	She did not say goodbye.	「さよなら」は言いませんでした
(Narration)	There was no need. She knew she would see the Spirit of Light again someday, in the World of Light.	光の精とはきっと、光の世界でまた会えるから
(Narration)	When the reborn bear cub resumes her journal after passing through the gates... What a dazzling and colorful thing it will be.	生まれ変わったクマの子が 門をくぐったその先で綴る日記の続き… それはいったい、どんな色に彩られた輝きを 見せてくれるのでしょうか？
